#Sm bus controller hp 2000 drivers
:nono: That's why the major Computer Chains like Best Buy's Geek Squad and Micro Center charge $100 for downgrades after they check that the Model you are seeking downgrade has that capability, will take a BIOS downgrade, and the drivers for Motherboard and internal devices such as you listed above are even available from the manufacturer, in this case, HP. There are several problems with the Downgrade procedure, not the least of which is your BIOS on that HP laptop may not be compatible with Win7! Generally speaking, a BIOS downgrade may have to be done to your Aunt's laptop, and that is very Risky Business-best left to professionals. Sorry to hear about your problems with the downgrade. And I've yet to find the correct SMBus controller. So, I've found and installed the drivers for Bluetooth, Network, and PCI (YAY!!), but the Ethernet (Lan) drivers I tried didn't work. I have less than 3 hrs to have it ready for her so I greatly appreciate any help you or anyone else provide! I spoke with customer support and she said that it's pretty much trial and error.but I was hoping you or someone else might know the right ones to use. I've already browsed through the drivers available for this model but the ones I need are not there.

I've just finished downgrading my aunt's laptop from windows 8 to windows 7 Pro 64bit (she was finding it really difficult to work with windows 8) but it seems that a few of the drivers did not make it through instillation.
